- “Still Saving” Plan (no account minimum)
New Client “Test Drive” Plan
For new clients that we have not previously had a relationship with, we offer a test drive service for a one-time fee of $800.00. Our first meeting is free of charge to introduce ourselves, discuss your needs and review the services that we offer. We then start the service with a data gathering meeting (often the same first meeting). We collect documents and discuss your goals, plans and your relationship with money. We develop a financial plan, which includes a comprehensive analysis of your cash flow, retirement planning, pension election advice, Social Security advice, savings advice, scenario analysis for potential changes in retirement, basic insurance review, basic estate planning review and a basic tax review. We will also review your investment allocations and provide a risk profile assessment as well as an investment proposal. Our hourly billing time on the initial financial plan typically exceeds $3,000. However, we provide this service at a loss, for a discounted fee of $800 to allow us the opportunity to work together and for you to test drive our services. This service does not include in-depth long-term care planning, estate planning or tax planning and preparation.
Wealth Management Plan (minimum $250,000 invested with our firm)
Our primary service offering is our wealth management plan. If you decide to hire us as your financial planning firm, we offer ongoing comprehensive services including the following:
- Customized Active Investment Management
- Comprehensive Ongoing Financial Planning & Reviews
- Tax Planning & Tax Preparation (Individual Returns)
- Insurance Planning & Policy Reviews
- Estate Planning & Long-Term Care Planning
We maintain active engagement with our wealth management clients and provide advice on nearly every interaction you have with money. We make ourselves available for face-to-face meetings, phone calls, emails, web conferences and we travel to meet with clients that live outside of our area.
Tiered Cost Structure:
(Based on Assets We Directly Manage)
$0 to $1,000,000 = 1.00%
$1,000,001 to $2,000,000 = 0.75%
$2,000,001 to $3,000,000 = 0.50%
Over $3 million = 0.25%
*If you find comparable comprehensive services offered at a lower cost structure please let us know. We are happy to review and compare to any of our competitors.
*Many comprehensive advisors charge 1.50% plus transaction fees and some charge as much as 2.00% plus transaction fees. We aggressively discount our costs for larger accounts as compared to most competitors. We encourage you to do the math. Our team includes your Certified Financial Planner, Investment Manager and Certified Public Accountant. We also work closely with several Estate Planning attorneys that have partnered with our firm to provide a “board of directors” for your unified plan for a fair value.
“Still Saving” Plan (no minimum account size)
We work with many clients that are still working and have most of their investment assets in company retirement plans, which can’t be actively managed by our firm until retirement or termination. We may decide to take on pre-retiree clients that have less than $250,000 invested with us, with the expectation that we will be managing retirement assets in the future that will exceed our account minimum. It may be years before you retire, and your company plans are eligible to be rolled over to our management. However, to build the relationship for the future, we may agree to manage your other smaller investment accounts in the meantime. This gives us a chance to work with you and help you build your wealth for retirement. We endeavor to have a long-term relationship with our clients and working together before retirement is mutually beneficial. We charge 1.00% for managing household accounts under $250,000, and we will charge a separate fee for ongoing in-depth financial planning and tax services.
Investing Cost Structure:

We remain available at our own discretion to provide ad-hoc planning services at no additional charge for clients that have us manage their investment assets. Generally, any in-depth planning services and any tax services are charged separately on either an hourly basis or a fixed project fee.
